The same crew that started the myballard blog has created a daily news blog for the greater Greenwood and Phinney region with tons of great local information.  Definitely worth checking out.

Be sure to take a look at this months issue of Seattle Business Monthly for it’s article on the 27 most promising neighborhoods to do business in.  Greenwood/Phinney is listed for its high job growth rate and educated population, among other factors.

Greenwood’s new tap house opened last night with a packed audience. We all hope that half of the people who showed up last night will become a more regular audience to the neighborhood. Some of the GC crew went over there to toast the new spot next door and we are pleased to now have a spot to enjoy a well-crafted brew in an upbeat environment.

Not to say our local dive bars don’t have a lot to offer. We’re just thrilled that we have a little more ‘variety’ to now chose from.
