Telluride Film Festival Fundraiser
Last night’s Telluride Film Festival Fundraiser at The Skylight Theater in Hood River showcased a selection of films intended to promote a dialogue amongst the audience. The MC did an excellent job introducing a well-balanced mix of short films documenting progressive outdoor sports as well environmental, health and cultural issues. The films covered a variety of issues that ranged from America’s environmentally inefficient obsession with front lawns to a detailed seasonal account of eating from one organic farm.
The most entertaining film was Running Down The Man. This film by Felt Soul Media humorously explores the mystery behind one of the world’s most elusive fish- The Rooster. The soundtrack and cinematography artistically capture a fishing story that engages even non-anglers. Keep your eyes out for FSM’s ‘Red Gold’ due out this May. Read Entire Post…
