Be sure to take a look at this months issue of Seattle Business Monthly for it’s article on the 27 most promising neighborhoods to do business in.  Greenwood/Phinney is listed for its high job growth rate and educated population, among other factors.

Bherd Studios

New to the lineup of businesses here is Bherd Studios. They’ve been making some serious progress on their new studio downstairs and we’re excited to see their space come to life. To get a glimpse of John Osgood’s style and approach to large scale murals, here’s a vid showing the process on 23rd.

We’re honored to have a new business here leading the charge on organizing the new Greenwood-Phinney monthly Art Walk. Michele Persinger’s hard work organizing this event has been widely supported by the local business community and there is a buzz in the air regarding the kickoff Dec. 12th. The new Art Walk with follow every second Friday of the month.

Greenwood Art Walk

We’re discussing ways to participate in a Greenwood Art Walk and trying to figure out the best day of the month to hold them. There are a numerous amount of competing art walks so we’d like to survey the general public and hear a response for the best day of the month to cruise around Greenwood on foot, meeting new people and viewing art.
